1. What countries did they come from? italy ireland
2. Why did they come to America ? they want to have a job. for a better life for thier children
3. Were they welcome here? EXPLAIN they were not allowed in america beacuse they were races and they would fight for who came first.
4. What did they do when they arrived? Where did they live? Jobs? Housing? they wouuld look for jobs and they would live in people basements and they would work in slater houses and the girls would sew bottoms on shirts and sweaters.
